Grupo Alba is a mixed social-economy company (Sociedad Limitada Laboral), founded in 1999, which is based in the Spanish region of Extremadura – with an office in Brussels, Belgium.
We bring together extensive experience gained over more than twenty years in the production and sale of locally sourced fresh fruit with a long history in the design and implementation of innovative local, regional and European development initiatives.
You can find fresh local produce from Grupo Alba listed by leading retail outlets and supermarkets across Europe, all meeting the highest quality and safety standards.
We play a leading role in the management of European networks such as the European Network for Rural Development (ENRD Contact Point) and the European Fisheries Area Network (FARNET Support Unit). We are also deeply involved in supporting grass-roots development initiatives such as Local Action Groups and Operational Groups.
